In September 1949 it has been decided on the start of a construction and assembly company with the main purpose of building the well known printing plant ”Casa Scanteii”.

This organization appears on April 1st 1950 under the name of ”Intreprinderea de Constructii si Instalatii”. The name of the company has changed in time and so, in 1984, it became ”Antrepriza de Constructii si Montaj Nr.4” and in 1992 it became a corporation.

Throughout the six decades of activity, ACM4 has operated both in Romania and Germany.

Bucharest has renowned buildings, such as Casa Presei Libere, the National Circus and the Opera and Ballet Theater, all built with ACM4s involvement.

ACM4's impact on Bucharest's growth is consolidated by its part in the subway tunnels and also by the countless projects with ANL and other operations such as thermal insulation projects and construction and refurbishments of kindergartens and schools.

From 1992 to 2007, ACM4 opened a subsidiary in Germany where we have brought many important local buildings to successful completion (i.e. the ABB Corporate Research Center, Heidelberg Fire Station, etc.)

Throughout its existence, ACM4 has been subject to many political and economic changes, however it has adapted and grew stronger each time. This has led to a company of tradition in tune with technology and innovation.
